A patio gets just as much wear as a driveway — furniture, foot traffic, barbecues, and constant exposure to the weather — so we build every patio on the same principles as our driveway work: a properly excavated and compacted base, correct falls so water runs away from the house rather than pooling by the back door, and paving laid tight and level. We work with natural stone (such as Indian sandstone or limestone), porcelain paving and block paving to suit the style of the property and the rest of the garden, and can tie a new patio into an existing driveway or path for a consistent look across the whole outdoor space. Whether it's a small seating area or a full rear garden re-paving, the groundwork gets the same attention regardless of size.
